Webster's definition of a disciple is "a pupil or follower of any teacher or school."
A true disciple is not just a student or a learner, but a follower: one who applies what he has learned.
Jesus calls us to obedience - to live a life worthy of His name. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
